World-renowned sand sculptor, Ed Jarrett chose LINKIT Conveyors in the making of one of his tallest sand castles. Standing at a grand height of 38′ 2″, ‘Sandy Castle’ was completed in 2013 and held the Guinness World Record for the tallest sand castle ever sculpted by hand until 2017. Ed, also known as ‘King of the Sand Castle,’ used LINKIT Conveyors to bring his sand to the area where he was sculpting. He picked quarried sand from Kenvil for building this castle and had over 40 truckloads trucked in. ‘Sandy Castle’ stook tall on Jenkinson’s beach in Point Pleasant, NJ for viewers. Money raised from the entrance fee was donated to charity.
